Here a worker bolts a log to the one beneath it.

 

Because the logs are cut tongue and grove at the mill, they fit tightly together when bolted. Strips of felt are placed in the grooves to further enhance the tight fit and weatherproofing.

 

At the construction site, logs are cut to fit according to the blueprints. Here a worker uses a mallet to hammer a small log section in place

 

This homeowner has selected to have his logs cut flat on the inside.

 

 

 

 

 

At this point, this project is dried in and ready for finishing inside and the roofing.
